Just got a Nexus 6P and used NRT to install 7.0

I realize it’s beta and not expected to 100% work but I can’t root it

    Details:

    Nexus 6P
    Android 7.0.0 NPD90G
Error: Sticking on “Teamwin” screen “recovery project 3.0.2-0”

I’m sure I’ve done something wrong; any thoughts?

    Thank you in advance

Same Issue, Unable to Root Nexus 6p with Android 7 NPD90G. It gets stuck in TWRP Attempting to Decrypt. Get the Notification of being unable to find ADB Recovery. It gets stuck after you insert the password for Encryption. I even attempted to put the incorrect password in to see if I get a different reaction.

v2.1.7 is in the works, however you should be able to accomplish root right now.

    Try doing the following:
    Flash Stock + Unroot
    Select that 7.0 build
Also tick the checkbox for “no-force encrypt kernel”
    Let it flash
Afterwards set your build to “Any Build”
    Use the root button

Let me know if that works for either of your.

    Cheers,

    Wug

I just received my 6P day before yesterday. Tried to root it with NRT (latest version) and failed during the TWRP phase. I’m running NBD90X and using a Windows 10 machine. Unlock etc went fine…but no root.
